At HBCU Heroes, our motto is, everyone can be an “HBCU Hero” by donating their money, resources & elbow grease. The need is vast. That’s why we’re urging everyone to donate to our HBCU Heroes Dollars for Scholars Giving Campaign. From assisting students with toiletries to funding to travel home for the holidays, as well as scholarships, books, and expenses that tuition doesn’t cover (like cell phone bills), we get it! College is expensive. Plus, not all NEEDS are covered by scholarships and loans. In fact, because 60% of HBCU students hail from low-income, single head of household families, funds are often so tight that HBCUers must work to put themselves through college…while also being responsible for keeping up their grades. Through our Dollars for Scholars Giving Campaign, you can contribute to the success of HBCU students, whether they need a little help to get by OR a lot. Join us. Be a hero. Donate today. Cape is optional.
